India 2018

Fourth expedition at Tadkeshwar Lignite mine

Our international team returned to Tadkeshwar Lignite Mine in March 2018. The crew was composed of Rajendra Singh Rana, Waqas Mirza, Raman Patel, Kishor Kumar, Rachel Dunn, Cécilia Cousin, Nathan Vallée Gillette, and Thierry Smith. The mining activities operated in different locations of the mine at the same time. This allowed us to better correlated the stratigraphy between the different fossil spots. The collect of terrestrial vertebrates was especially good this time!
